This Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation from respondent No.2 to any other Police Officer.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has made a complaint before the concerned respondent No.2 Police on 27.12.2022, but, no action has been initiated so far, thereby, appropriate directions as sought for.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that in spite of repeated request, the petitioner failed to appear before the Police for further enquiry in respect of a complaint given by her on 27.12.2022. It is submitted that if the petitioner appears before the Police, they will consider the representation and dispose of the same. The same is recorded.

4. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Police on 05.08.2023 and on such appearance, the respondent Police are directed to expedite the enquiry and complete the same as quickly as possible not later than six weeks from the date of disposal of this petition. 2/4

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
