O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to measure and demarcate petitioner's properties in Survey Nos.273/8 and 273/9 measuring a total extent of 1 Acre 25 Cents situated at Nadupatty Village, Manapparai Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District and consequently direct to give adequate police protection by the 4th Respondent during the survey by considering petitioner application vide E-challan No. 2026/0123/15/000666 and 2026/0123/15/000668 both dated 10.02.2026. 2. The petitioner's husband namely, Maideen Batcha has purchased the lands in survey Nos.273/8 and 273/9 through a registered sale deed dated 20.06.2008, vide Document No.2284 of 2008. Thereafter, he had executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner vide Document No.1635 of 2021 dated 09.03.2021. When third party namely, Nallu and Mani had interfered with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property, the petitioner and his husband had filed OS.No.234 of 2010 on the file of District Munsif Court, Manapparai. Later, the suit was decreed on 17.06.2014 in favour of the Petitioner. Aggrieved over the same, the defendants therein had preferred A.S.No.161 of 2014 on the file of II Additional Subordinate Court, Trichy and the same was dismissed vide judgment dated 15.07.2019, confirming the decree granted by the trial Court. Thereafter second appeal was not preferred and the litigation has attained finality. In such circumstances, the petitioner is seeking to survey the property.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. Therefore, the second respondent/Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's application and survey the property with the Page No. 3 of 6
assistance of the Surveyors, namely, the third respondent herein, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the other pattadars and the rival parties, if any, in accordance with law. In case the second respondent/Tahsildar seeks police protection for carrying out the survey, the fourth respondent shall provide the necessary police protection. The respondents shall adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures : • The respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.
• After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction. • If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest.
The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
