ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned transfer order passed by the second respondent vide proceedings in Se.Mu.Aa.No.A1/49312/2025 A.Aa.No.33/2025 dated 30.06.2025 and consequently, to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue in his present post at the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Madurai or in the alternative, at any nearby laboratory in proximity to Virudhunagar District.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition challenging the impugned transfer order, it would suffice if this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated

04.05.2025 and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
