ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondent Police is harassing him under the guise of enquiry, based on the complaint of the fourth respondent.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the fourth respondent has lodged a complaint before the Deputy Commissioner of Police(South), Madurai that he has been cheated by the petitioner that he would arrange a job. This complaint was forwarded by the first respondent to the third respondent, based on which petition enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.229 of 2025, on 03.07.2025 and the same is pending. Since the enquiry was initiated only on 03.07.2025, they require two more weeks to complete the enquiry.

3.The petitioner claims that he has also lodged a complaint as against the fourth respondent and the same has not been enquired. However, based on the complaint of the fourth respondent, they are harassing the petitioner.

4.Since it is reported that enquiry is pending, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner.
