The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking for a direction to the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner.

2. The main contention of the petitioner is that the third respondent with the connivance of an unidentified person has abused the petitioner in filthy language and that the petitioner is also facing serious life threat.

3. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) who takes notice for the first and second respondents would submit that the complaint dated 01.12.2020 filed by the petitioner was enquired and subsequently, the complaint was closed by the police based on the representation made by the petitioner that he had given a wrong complaint. This fact has not been disputed by the petitioner and therefore nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this petition is dismissed.
