O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to issue Indian Citizenship Certificate to the petitioner based on her Marriage Registration Certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu by invoking Section 5(1)(c) of the Citizenship Act, 1955 and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2025.

2.By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner got married to an Indian citizen and she intends to apply for the Indian Citizenship Certificate. In this regard, the petitioner had already made a representation to the respondents on 21.06.2025. Since the said representation is pending consideration, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition. 4.Learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law. 3/6

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2025, in accordance with law, as soon as possible. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. There shall be no order as to costs.
