The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to transfer the investigation in Crime No.47 of 2019, dated 08.11.2019 from the file of the second respondent to any other police officer not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner, on the basis of the petitioner's representation. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the matter was compromised between the parties and based on which, the case in Crime No.47 of 2019 was closed on 25.07.2023.
