(MD).No.11370 of 2016) PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to conclude the selection process for appointment of Board of Trustees (9) as per the scheme of "MKN Madarasa Trust" Adiramapattinam, Thanjavur District, forthwith in accordance with the orders passed in WA(MD) No.1100/2015, dated 26.11.2015 and to publish the results to enable the Board of Trustees to assume charge and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J] The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction upon the respondents to conclude the selection process for appointment of Board of Trustees (9) as per the scheme of "MKN Madarasa Trust" Adiramapattinam, Thanjavur District, forthwith in accordance with the orders passed in WA(MD) No.1100/2015, dated 26.11.2015 and to publish the results to enable the Board of Trustees to assume charge

2. The learned counsel appearing for the Wakf Board submitted that the Wakf Board is yet to be constituted and in a Public Interest Litigation, a direction has been issued to the Government to constitute a Wakf Board within a period of 2 months.

3. Therefore, the proper course to be adopted by the petitioner is to renew his request as and when the Tamilnadu Wakf Board is constituted. With the above observation, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
