O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnors/respondents for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 08.12.2022 made in W.P(MD).No.5482 of 2020.

2. This Court, vide order dated 08.12.2022, disposed the said writ petition by issuing a direction to the respondents to pay interest for the delayed payment of gratuity within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, pursuant to which, the interest for the delayed payment of gratuity was paid on 11.01.2024 to the tune of Rs.9,38,937/- (Rupees Nine Lakhs Thirty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty Seven only). Hence, there is no wilful disobedience on the part of the respondents.
