ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 90 years. He has moved the Maintenance Tribunal for certain reliefs. On a perusal of her petition, I am afraid that some of the reliefs sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by the Maintenance Tribunal.

4. The second respondent is directed to take action in respect of matters in which he is authorised to do so under provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Notice shall be issued by the second respondent to the private respondents and after enquiry final order shall be passed within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4

order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The contentions of the private respondents are left open. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
