Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce body or person of detenu / petitioner's son namely Santhosh Kumar, son of Sankar, aged about 32 years, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by V. BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's son by name Santhosh Kumar, aged about 32 years, illegally detained, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, on instructions would submit that the detenu has been arrested by Ramamoorthi Nagar Police Station in Bangalore City in respect of Crime No.382 of 2021, for the offences under Sections 406, 420 r/w. 34 of I.P.C., and remanded to judicial custody and he has been confined in Central Jail, Bangalore.

3. Considering the fact that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody and he has not been illegally detained as alleged by the petitioner, no further adjudication is required in this matter.
