PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to permit the petitioner to conduct Kabadi Tournament from 05.11.2021 at about 8.00 P.M to 07.11.2021 at about 11.30 P.M. at Kaman Chavadi Ground, Viragalur Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District.

This writ petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, to permit the petitioner to conduct Kabadi Tournament from 05.11.2021 at about 8.00 P.M to 07.11.2021 at about 11.30 P.M. at Kaman Chavadi Ground, Viragalur Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as per the latest New release No.931 dated 23.10.2021, Tamilnadu Government has lifted few restrictions and permission was granted to conduct sports tournament. The representation of the petitioner will be considered as per direction of this Court.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and in view of the latest news release dated 23.10.2021, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2021 and pass orders by granting permission, by complying the conditions imposed by the Government in the above said news release.
