PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the Resolution No.9/2008-2009, dated 20.04.2009 passed by the sixth respondent, Order No.Moo.Mu.2070/A5/09, dated 08.05.2009 passed by fourth respondent and order Na.Ka.No.028464/G.3/2017, dated 15.12.2017 passed by the third respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 6 to promote the petitioner as the Headmaster of the 6th respondent Kamarajar Middle School, Sholavandan with effect from 22.04.2009 (date of promotion of the 7th respondent) and grant all the service and monetary benefits within a time limit to be fixed by this Court. The petitioner has challenged the appointment of R7 as a Middle School Headmaster. However, pending writ petition, the petitioner has passed away on 25.04.2018, hence, rendering this writ petition infructuous. A copy of the death certificate is placed on file.
2. In view of the aforesaid, this Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
