ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide the police protection to the petitioner and his petitioners family members life and liberty by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2022 in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner gave complaint against one Siva with regard to the incident that took place on 29.07.2022 at about 10.00 am. The case has been registered against him in Crime No.266 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 341,294(b),324,379 of IPC and Sections 3(1)(r),3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SC/ST(POA) Act. Since the case has been registered the accused persons are threatening the petitioner and his family members, hence he gave representation dated 17.08.2022 to take action against the accused persons.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner a case has been registered in Crime No.266 of 2022 on 02.08.2022 for the offences under Sections 341,294(b),324,379 of IPC and Sections 3(1) 2/5

(r),3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SC/ST(POA) Act and both the parties are called for enquiry. He would further submit that counter case has also been registered in Crime No.267 of 2022.

4. Recording the same, the second and third respondents are directed complete the investigation in Crime Nos.266 of 2022 and 267 of 2022 and file a final report in both cases within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
