O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for expeditious completion of investigation by the respondent Police in Crime No.15 of 2022 dated 21.07.2022.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that on the complaint given by the petitioner/defacto complainant, the Police have registered a case in Crime No.15 of 2022 on 21.07.2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 498A IPC and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. The investigation is still pending and thereby, he sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondent, on the other hand, submits that the police have examined 11 witnesses so far and the investigation is in progress. He requests short time to complete the investigation and file the final report.
