ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the first respondent to pass final order on his office File No.Na.Ka.Va.Ni5(1)/58929/2012, in the light of the recommendations of the second respondent in Na.Ka.96583/2007 E3, dated 24.09.2012, for extending the territorial applicability of the petitioner's Revolver licence No.T.772/1 to all over India, within a time limit fixed by this Court. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though the second respondent/District Collector recommended to extend the petitioner's revolver licence throughout India, the first respondent has not passed any orders on the application of the petitioner. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that he has no instructions as to the status of the proceedings.

4.The second respondent appears to have recommended to extend the petitioner's revolver licence throughout India to the first respondent on 24.09.2012 and the proceedings was initiated by the first respondent in Na.Ka.Va.Ni5(1)/58929/2012. The present status of the proceedings initiated by the first respondent is not known. Hence, this Court directs the first respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.Va.Ni5(1)/58929/2012, if not already concluded and take a decision on the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
