This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's candidature to the post of Driver in the second respondent's office without insisting him to produce the Badge License and provide appointment to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2016 within a stipulated time. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the respondents have

decided to re-notify, the appointment notification. 4.In such view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to apply afresh as and when fresh notification is issued. No costs.
