ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to rectify the mistake in the patta issued to him in Patta No.5271, by considering his representation dated 03.07.2025.

2. Heard the arguments of M/s.G.Subiksha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, in the patta issued to him in respect of the subject property in Survey No.31/1B1 in Kinnimangalam Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, his father name has been wrongly mentioned as Malaiandi instead of Murugan. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an instant representation dated 03.07.2025 before the respondents seeking correction of the revenue records. The same has 2/4

not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.07.2025 will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
