O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to issue 'Non Traceable Certificate' for the original Sale deed bearing Document No.1957/1992 dated 13.07.1992 and its parent document in Doc.No.2731/1981 dated 24.10.1981 on the file of Sub-Registrar Office, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has lost original document bearing Document No.1957/1992 and on which, in order to get a photocopy of the document from the concerned Sub Registrar Office, the petitioner has filed an application dated 16.06.2023 before the second respondent Police to issue non traceable certificate and the said petition is pending.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that incase, if the petitioner is directed to appear before the police concerned, the police will dispose of this application and provide necessary certificate after following the requirements in respect of issuance of non-traceable certificate as directed in the guidelines issued by the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai-4, dated 01.04.2022.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to appear before the concerned police and complete the formalities. On which, the respondent police are directed to issue necessary directions as expeditiously as possible.
