ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Thiruchirappalli to dispose the HMOP.No. 290 of 2018, pending on his file within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The revision petitioner is the husband and the respondent is wife. The revision petitioner has filed HMOP.No. 290 of 2018 on the file of Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruchirappalli, for divorce. Though, HMOP being adjourned for filing counter of the respondent, till date she has not filed any counter and she has been dragging the matter. Therefore, he has filed the present Civil Revision Petition before this Court to pass appropriate direction to dispose of HMOP.No. 290 of 2018 at the earliest point of time. Further, referring to the Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007, Tamil Nadu (Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts), Rules, 2007, the learned counsel contended that HMOP must be disposed of within a period of one year from the date of filing of the case. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Civil Revision Petition.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the Judicial Notification and also the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the HMOP within a time frame.

4. Accordingly, the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruchirappalli, is hereby directed to dispose of HMOP.No. 290 of 2018, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Civil Revision petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
