The writ petition has been filed challenging the order of the Tahsildar in OPT.No.2020/153/22/000345, dated 27.11.2020.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. Admittedly, it is seen that the corretion which is sought for by the petitioner is pertaining to UDR records. Hence, the competent authority is only the District Revenue Officer and not the Revenue Divisional Officer before whom an application has been filed and being enquired into presently according to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the fact that the petitioner seeks correction in UDR records, the petitioner is granted liberty to make an application before the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On receipt of such application from the petitioners, the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai shall issue notice to the petitioner, private respondents and all the interested parties and after conducting due enquiry after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to all the parties, the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai shall pass final orders, without being influenced by any of the earlier observations or orders passed by the revenue authorities which are challenged in the present writ petition, within a period of four (4) months from the date of application to be filed by the petitioner.
