ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned Refusal slip dated 01.07.2025 and consequently direct the 1st respondent to register the Settlement Deed document dated 26.05.2025 executed by the petitioner.

2. Since the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur, Madurai District, is a necessary party in this writ petition this Court suo motu impleaded as 2nd respondent.

3. Through the impugned order, the respondent has stated that there is no proper documents to establish the properties are ancestral. It is further stated that an enquiry in Na.Ka.No.4773/2025/A1, dated 30.06.2025, is pending before the 2nd respondent herein, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur, Madurai District.

4. Therefore, the 2nd respondent, the Revenue Divisional Officer, is directed to complete the enquiry proceedings within a period of four weeks from 2/4

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Based on the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner's request for registration of the document may be considered by the 1st respondent.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
