ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in a proper manner in Crime No.179 of 2023 pending on the file of the respondent and file final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Oddanchatram within a time frame.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent registered an FIR in Crime No.179 of 2023 on 25.09.2023 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 447, 427, 435 and 506(1) IPC and that investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks four weeks time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.179 of 2023 before the 2/4

jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
