ORDER:- This Civil Revision Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption for "Extension of time"and upon perusing the earlier order dated 09.08.2023 and the requisition letter submitted by the Principal District Munsif, Tenkasi vide the letter in D.No.594/2023 dated 16.10.2023,this Court made the following order: Today, this case is listed under the caption for "Extension of Time for Lower Court".

It is evident from the records that this Court, vide order dated 09.08.2023, directed the learned Principal District Munsif, Tenkasi to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.186 of 2022 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. The learned Principal District Munsif, Tenkasi, holding Full Additional In-charge of Additional District Munsif Court, has submitted a requisition letter, dated 16.10.2023, through the Principal District Judge, Tirunelveli, stating that when the case posted for judgment under Order 12 Rule 6 C.P.C., the defendants had filed applications to reopen and receive additional written statement, that thereafter, the plaintiffs have filed two petitions under Order 23 Rule 1A and under Order 1 Rule 10(2) C.P.C., and the said petitions are pending and as such, he could not dispose of the suit within the time stipulated by this Court and seeks six months further time to complete the trial. 2/4

Though this Court is not inclined to accept the reason assigned, the learned trial Judge is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S.No.186 of 2022 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
