Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the fifth respondent in his proceedings e.f.vz;.12046/ep2/2/11 dated 27.06.2017 and quash the same as illegal and consequentially to direct the respondents to regularize the petitioner's service w.e.f 01.03.2011 as it was granted in respect of similarly placed persons by the fourth respondent vide his proceedings e.f.vz;.669/ep/2011 dated 01.08.2012 in conformity with G.O.Ms.No.97 Health and Family Welfare (IM1) Department dated 01.03.2011 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. 1/3

ORDER
The prayer in the Writ Petition is to bring the service of the petitioner into regular time scale of pay. Pending the Writ Petition, the fourth respondent herein had issued an order dated 17.10.2018, bringing the petitioner in the regular time scale of pay with effect from 01.03.2011, that is, from the date of issue of G.O. (Ms).No.97, Health and Family Welfare Department dated 01.03.2017, thereby, the earlier order passed on 01.03.2011 was cancelled. In the counter-affidavit filed by the respondents, this position has been confirmed and it has been further stated that the petitioner herein will also have the pay benefits with effect from 01.03.2011.
2. Since the grievance of the petitioner is substantially addressed, no effective orders can be passed in the Writ Petition. This Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
