The respondent Police have produced the wife of the petitioner herein alleged to have been missing from 31.08.2021.
2. When we enquired the lady, namely, Sarala, wife of the petitioner, she said that when they were living in Kerala, the petitioner used to harass and torture her in a drunken state and therefore, to avoid further harassment, she left the petitioner and joined her parents, who are in Papanasam, Thanjavur District. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that in view of the subsequent development after filing of this habeas corpus petition, she is not pressing the habeas corpus petition and has made an endorsement to that effect.
4. Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
