PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to survey the property in Survey No.123/1B, Ariyanenthal Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District classified as Adi Dravidar Colony and correct the survey sketch in accordance with the other revenue records within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to survey the property situated in Survey No.123/1B in Ariyanenthal Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District and correct the survey sketch in accordance with other revenue records within a time frame.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.J.Barathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, FMB for Survey No.123/1A in Ariyanenthal Village, Kariyapatti Taluk does not reflect the correct extent of the said survey number. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 04.07.2024 before the fourth respondent seeking correction of FMB. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already enquiry notice was issued to the petitioner and the representation submitted by him will be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
