PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.04.2025 and to remove the electric wires in respect of service connection No. 05221013346 drawn over the subject properties of the petitioner in Survey Nos.320/1B2 and 320/3B2 in Chellapanayakkanpatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 4 and after dispensing with the notice on the fifth respondent, as no further orders are proposed to be passed against the fifth respondent at this stage.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an Electric HT cable is running over the petitioner's agricultural land. Therefore, the petitioner has sent 2/5
a representation, dated 07.04.2025 for removal of the electrical cable.
3. On the other hand, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submits that the aforesaid connection is LT connection, which was given in the year 2021 and which was, later, converted into Tariff -IV i.e., free service connection for agriculture purpose.
4. It is further submitted that in any event, the petitioner's representation, dated 07.04.2025 will be considered and disposed of on merits by the third respondent.
5. Considering the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.04.2025 and dispose of the same on merits within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state, before passing the orders, the fifth respondent shall also be heard. No costs. Index : Yes / No 11.07.2025 Internet : Yes / No apd 3/5
