Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to consider the representation dated 16.07.2024 and transfer the petitioner's daughter by name (Monisha Sheela A2 Remand Prisoner) aged about 35 years now confined in Central Prison Madurai to Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai.

This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to consider the representation dated 16.07.2024 and transfer the petitioner's daughter by name (Monisha Sheela A2 Remand Prisoner) aged about 35 years now confined in Central Prison Madurai to Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation came to be considered and the same was rejected vide proceedings dated 16.08.2024. 2/4
3.Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order, if so advised. No costs.
