For Respondent : A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in O.R.No.257 of 2019 on the file of the respondent ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under sections 2,21 d, e, f, 21 (1), 35, 35(b), 35, 41, 41(3)(a), 49, 49(a), 49(b), 49(c), 49(g), (a)(b), 50, 51, 56, 56(b), 56(c) and 56(d) of Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882, Sections 2, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 39, 50, 51A, 55 and 57 of Wild Life (Protection ) Act, 1972 and Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 of Tamil Nadu Rose Wood Trees (Conservation) Act, 1995 and Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 10 of Tamil Nadu Timber Transit Rules, 1968, in O.R.No.257 of 2019, seeks anticipatory bail.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that there is no previous case against the petitioner. Hence, I am https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.12495 of 2019 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kuzhithurai, and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C scrupulously.

4. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
