PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.184 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A.1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 195A and 506(2) IPC, in Crime No.184 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is having one previous case in Crime No.296 of 2014 and in that case, charge sheet has been filed and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.26 of 2016 and that on 10.07.2022 at about 09.00 hrs, the petitioner and other accused threatened one witness, namely, Lakshmi. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that investigation is pending.

5. Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also the facts that the petitioner is having previous case and that investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
