Seeking Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2017, the petitioner has filed this writ petition in the year 2018. In his representation, the petitioner has made certain allegations as against the Tahsildar, Papanasam Taluk that he has not issued patta on the petitioner's application.

2.Today (26.03.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the Tahsildar has denied the request of this petitioner for grant of patta on the ground that the land sought for patta is a communal land. petitioner has submitted a representation and filed this writ petition. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
