O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2018 and give a permission to the petitioner to renovate the Pillaiyar Temple, Thiruvannamalai Samiyar "[Ptrkhjp" in Survey S.F.No.63/1A at Melavaniyangudi Village, Sivagangai District.

2. By an order dated 03.04.2024, this Court had suo motu impleaded the Joint Commissioner of H.R. & C.E. as the third respondent.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents including the newly impleaded third respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2018 will be considered by the third respondent within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would also submit that the copy of the Page No. 2 of 4

petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2018 may be directed to be forwarded to the office of the third respondent.

4. Although there is no representation for the petitioner, based on the above undertakings of the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2018 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of 8 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The copy of the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2018 is directed to be forwarded to the third respondent by the other respondents immediately. No costs.
