Seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to take appropriate action to enable the petitioner to perform a Karuppasamy Samiyadi of Arulmigu Karuppasamy Temple situated at A.Karisalkulam Village, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District to conduct and perform "Kalari Poojai" scheduled to be 2/6
held in the month of August considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2026, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned counsel for the respondents 7, 8 and 9 submitted that there are disputed facts as to the right of Samiyadi (Divine Dance) during the temple festival.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that if any other person claims right for conduct of Samiyadi (Divine Dance), disputes may certainly arise.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, the 3rd respondent is directed to put the petitioner as well as the private respondents on notice and conduct a Peace Committee on or before 05.08.2026 and dispose of the petitioner's representation, after hearing both the parties, in accordance with law. 3/6
6.
