PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct proper investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.12.2021 followed by the representations on 15.03.2022 by following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari case reported in 2014(2) SCC 1 .

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct proper investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.12.2021 followed by the representations on 15.03.2022 by following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari case reported in 2014(2) SCC 1 .

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondents submitted the petitioner's representation, dated 15.03.2022 is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent/Inspector of Police. The statement is recorded.

4. Recording the same, the 2nd respondent/Inspector of Police is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.03.2022 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with 2/4

law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No Cost.
