ORDER

Heard Mr.S.Anwar Sameem, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Ramesh Arumugam, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. This Writ Petition had been filed for Certiorarified Mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent to include the petitioner's name in the promotion panel on par with his juniors to the promotional post of Village Administrative Officer for the period 2016-17 and promote the petitioner with all consequential benefits.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted promotion.

4. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
