[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] The matter has been listed today under the caption 'for reporting compliance'.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader filed a status report of the first respondent.

3.Perusal of the status report reveals the action taken in respect of rehabilitation of manual scavengers. It is stated that the manual scavengers had been completely eliminated and that adequate modern equipment and machines have been provided for the purpose of cleaning sewage. The status report filed by the first respondent, is taken on record.
