Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of CR.P.C to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner, her family members and to have peaceful possession and enjoyment of the properties comprised in Survey Nos.273/3 (47 Cent), 273/5 (33 Cent), 273/11 (82 Cent), 275/3 (44 Cent), 275/7 (52 Cent), 276/4 (16 Cent), 276/11 (26 Cent), 276/17 (68 Cent), situated at Palayaneduvayal Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the representation dated 24.10.2020.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for disobeying the order passed by this Court dated 04.11.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.12322 of 2020, thereby directed the respondent to conclude the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. If cognizable offence is made out, the respondent has to registered the FIR.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent police conducted a detailed enquiry and closed the complaint on 02.02.2022.

Cont.P(MD)No.1489 of 2021 3.Recording the said submissions, this Contempt Petition is closed. The respondent is directed to serve the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
