For Petitioner : Mr.A.Prasanna Rajadurai For R1 to R3 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent Police not to harass the petitioner and his family members basing on the representation given by the third respondent.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent that the respondents 4 to 6 have entered into a partition of the ancestral properties as per the partition deed dated 28.02.2014 and subsequently, in the year 2021, the sixth respondent has sold his share of the property in favour of the petitioner. However, the sixth respondent has filed a complaint against the petitioner seeking the right of pathway in the property sold to the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police, on the other hand, submits that basing on the representation given by the sixth respondent, the Police have given C.S.R.No.327 of 2023 and made enquiry on 30.07.2023. After conclusion 2/4

of the enquiry, the parties were directed to approach the civil Court as the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature.

4. Since the representation given by the sixth respondent has already been closed, no further order is required to be passed in this petition.
