O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No. 84/5, patta No. 1319 to an extent of 0.23.00 Hectares situated at Kulamangalam South Village, Kulamangalam Post, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering his representation dated 04.07.2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 04.07.2023 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that after considering the claims of all parties, 2/5

proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2023 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from today.
