ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that his complaint dated 14.06.2025 has not been enquired by the respondent Police, has filed this writ petition 2/6

seeking a direction to the respondent Police to conduct enquiry on his complaint dated 14.06.2025 and take action as against the respondents 7 to 9 in accordance with law.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint of the petitioner was duly registered in Crime No.214 of 2025 on 20.07.2025, on the file of the 6th respondent Police, for the offence under Sections 352 and 353(1)(b) of BNS 2023 and Section 25(1A) of Arms Act, 1959.

3. The petitioner, party-in-person, submits that though he lodged complaints on 22.04.2025, 16.05.2025 and 14.06.2025, the case in Crime No.214 of 2025 has been registered only on 20.07.2025 and that too after the filing of this writ petition. Further, in the column No.8 of the FIR, the respondent Police has mentioned that the complaint has been registered due to the delay of the complainant.

4. In view of the same, the respondent Police is expected to address the date of the complaint at the time of filing the final report. The Deputy 3/6

Superintendent of Police, Paramakudi Sub Division, Paramakudi, is directed to monitor the investigation.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
