ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

2. The specific case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband Kasinathan died through electrocution on 24.08.2024, which stands confirmed by an FIR registered in Crime No.205/2024 dated 24.08.2024 under Section 194 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, on account of suspicious death.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner is entitled to compensation as prayed for and that she has given a representation, dated 03.06.2025.

Since the matter would require same deliberations by the second respondent as to how the petitioner is entitled to compensation as per the relevant guidelines and Board proceedings, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 03.06.2025 in the light of the guidelines and Board proceedings, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
