ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 13.05.2024 seeking to appoint us hereditary trustee(Paramparai Arangkavalar).

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the application filed under Section 63B of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 for recognizing the petitioner as a hereditary trustee has been rejected on the ground that it has not been served. He further submits that if a fresh application is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.

3. Recording the above submission, the petitioner is permitted to file a fresh application before the Joint commissioner within a period of 30 days 2/4

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The joint Commissioner shall consider and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 months thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
