The Writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection for smooth functioning of Pallapatti Branch Office of M/s.Manappuram Finance Limited, Karur District on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 24.07.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e.,24.09.2024), the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner's shop was opened with police protection and as such, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.
