ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to take appropriate action on the basis of the first respondent letter X.K.vz;.rp2/32558/2024 dated 22.07.2024 along with the writ petitioner's complaint dated 25.06.2024, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

It is seen from the records that on the basis of the complaint given by the writ petitioner's son Mohamed Yasin, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.177 of 2024 against two named persons and two unnamed persons for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 379 and 506(1) IPC and investigation is pending.

4. The main contention of the writ petitioner is that after registration of the FIR, the accused therein have threatened the writ petitioner's son to withdraw the complaint and that the writ petitioner submitted a representation on 25.06.2024.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the writ petitioner, enquiry was conducted and since the witnesses have specifically stated that there was no such occurrence, the complaint was ordered to be closed and he has also produced the copy of the report given by the third respondent.
