PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider and pass orders forthwith on the petitioner's representation dated09.01.2018 seeking to reckon petitioner's seniority by counting entire BT.Assistant (Science) service period from 20.03.2007 onwards and to include petitioner's name in the Post Graduate Assistant Promotion panel. Having heard Mr.E.V.N.Siva, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned standing counsel for the respondents, a direction is issued to the Director of School Education/R2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2018, wherein the petitioner seeks that his service for the period from 20.03.2007 be reckoned to determine his seniority. He also seeks inclusion of his name in the Post Graduate Assistant promotion panel.
