PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondent No.2 from interfering peaceful staying at petitioner's home situated at No.5/1, PT Colony, Karumpalai, Madurai - 01 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the name of enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 04.04.2022.

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondent No.2 from interfering peaceful staying at petitioner's home situated at No.5/1, PT Colony, Karumpalai, Madurai - 01 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the name of enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 04.04.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondents submitted that, at the time of alleged murder, the petitioner was residing in his house which was located in opposite to the deceased house. In order to save the petitioner's life, the police officials have advised not to be in home town and live elsewhere. He further submitted that the occurrence was happened in the year 2009 and the police officials are not harassing 2/4

the petitioner. Now, the police have no objection that the petitioner to reside in his house. The statement is recorded.
