ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the third respondent. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the respondents 4 to 6 is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner challenges the decision taken in a peace committee meeting held on 08.08.2022. It has been held time and against that such decisions are not amenable to legal challenge. They are bereft any statutory value or force. The proceedings were not issued under any provisions of Criminal Procedure Code. Therefore, challenge to them will not lie. However, 2/4
I make it clear that the statutory authorities will not endeavour to enforce the same. As regards the dispute which the writ petitioner has with the private respondents, it has to be resolved elsewhere. No relief can be granted in writ proceedings against the private respondents.
