O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and rectify the error occurred during UDR in Patta No.683 in respect of the property in S.NO. 39/11J bearing an extent of about 8 ares(19.54 cents) situated at Sanmugasundarapuram Village, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District and issue patta in his name by considering his representation, dated 10.2.2025.

2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, he purchased 19.56 cents of 2/6

land in the subject survey number from one Hemalatha under two sale deeds, dated 26.08.2025 and 22.05.2019. Since the total extent of the property was wrongly mentioned in the revenue records during UDR up-dation, th Petitioner submitted a representation on 10.2.2025 seeking rectification of error that had crept in UDR updation. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 10.02.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
