O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for expeditious completion of investigation in Crime No.435 of 2021 pending on the file of the second respondent Police.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the second respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.435 of 2021 on the complaint given by the petitioner/defacto complainant for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(2) and 379 of IPC, however, after registration of the case, there is no substantial progress in the investigation.
3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents, on the other hand, submits that the accused No.3 was arrested and enlarged on bail. The Police have completed the investigation and recorded the statements of six witnesses and as per the allegation made by the petitioner, a mobile phone and a gold chain were lost and the Police have been taking efforts to recover the said properties and requests some more time to complete the investigation.

Considering the circumstances, keeping in view of the fact that the Police are required some more time to get hold of the accused and recover the articles allegedly stolen, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondents Police to complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
